About Marci

Marci Hersel is an artist living in Southern

California. Her first published Children's book, Baumbastisch, written by Margot

Webb, was obtained by an overseas publisher and translated into German. Soon

after, she illustrated a chapter book that was independently published by the

author. These experiences allowed Marci to learn about the process of creating

books and the commitment it takes to successfully complete them.

Many things cause inspiration for Marci's Illustrations. She especially loves

traveling and learning new things about different cultures.

When Marci isn't creating art she's usually thinking about it.
